My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

I wil be riding for Tallyn Thompson-Wise.

Diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) at 15 months old and immediately started chemotherapy in August 2018. Tallyn successfully completed treatment in October 2019 and reached survivors status (5 years without remission) last year. Tallyn is a heathy 8 year old who enjoys dance, martial arts, and theater.

My Challenge

  • First ride on two wheels since October 6, 2025

    7 months post total knee replacement and the day finally came in which I am able to pedal on two wheels 🥳! It was a whole three miles around my neighborhood but I’ll take it. Going back out to start the week bright and early tomorrow. Going for 5 miles 🤞🏾
