My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Over the past two years I have followed the story of Adrian Uribe and his courageous battle with childhood leukemia. Adrian is the son of a friend that I met while attending college in New Mexico many years ago. With a young child of my own it has been hard to fathom the hardships such a diagnosis can place on a family. I have been in awe of the Uribe family as they have banded together to support one another and their son through this journey. Because of their story I felt it was a great honor to be asked to take part in this simple, yet effective challenge.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
