My Story
This September, I'm riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
A little over a year ago, I decided it was time to change my life. I started losing weight, getting healthier, and eventually discovered cycling. What began on an old 1993 Trek Antelope has grown into a passion that has completely changed my life.
Since then, I've ridden hundreds of miles, challenged myself with longer rides, tackled group rides, and pushed myself farther than I ever thought I could. Every ride reminds me that we can accomplish incredible things one mile at a time.
That's why I'm taking on the Great Cycle Challenge.
Kids should be outside riding bikes, laughing with friends, and making memories—not fighting cancer. Every year, thousands of children in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer, and far too many families face unimaginable heartbreak.
This cause is personal to me. I've watched family members battle cancer, and I know how devastating it can be. Supporting childhood cancer research means giving kids and their families hope for better treatments, brighter futures, and ultimately, a cure.
Throughout September, every mile I ride is dedicated to helping the Children's Cancer Research Fund continue their lifesaving work.
If you're able, I'd be incredibly grateful for your support. No donation is too small—every dollar helps move us closer to a world where no child has to face cancer.
Thank you for believing in me, supporting my journey, and helping make a difference.
