I just raised $100 to fight kids' cancer and achieved DEFENDER LEVEL in the challenge! Thank you so much for your support.
My first year participating in the Great Cycle Challenge and I am very excited to be part of a great cause- research to kick cancer's butt in children. It saddens me that kids with leukemia, lymphomas, and solid tumors (neuroblastoma and Wilms tumor) do not have the benefit to enjoy life as much as I did when I was a youngster. This ride is for them and for my family members who survived cancer and for those who did not.
This ride will be for any individual who is fighting cancer. For anyone who has survived any form and stages of cancer. I will complete my 200 Miles. Even though, in the first week of September on Labor Day weekend I will be out-of-town to help extended family. I will fulfill those 200 Miles.
If you have a family member, a loved one who is fighting cancer, or if you lost a loved one from cancer; if you donate and leave their name, I will be also riding for you and your family too. Let us all ride together, rack up the Miles, and donate to help find a cure.
